Q1. If I change devices on the same mobile-device operating system, will I have to re-purchase?
A1. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete purchase data is tied to your store account (Google or Apple). Therefore, re-purchase is unnecessary if you use the same store account where you originally purchased the game.
You may need to re-purchase for the following conditions:
- If you are changing to a device with a different OS (e.g. from Android to iOS).
- If you cannot use the same store account you used at the time of purchase.
Q2. Can I play on multiple devices?
A2. Save data is saved to your device. If the same store account is used, you can play on multiple devices. However, you cannot use a single set of saved data on multiple devices simultaneously.
Q3. Can save data be transferred to another device?
A3. It can be transferred. Please note that when transferring your data, you must temporarily save your data to your Nintendo Account via the Change Devices menu within the app. Please see the following article for details.
* If you are changing to a device with a different OS, you will need to purchase the game on each OS separately.
Q4. Can multiple save files be used on the same device?
A4. No, it is not possible to switch save files on a single device.
Q5. Will my save data be affected if I back it up, even though I do not plan to switch devices (transfer data)?
A5. Even after you’ve backed up your save data to your Nintendo Account, the save data stored on your device remains unaffected, so you can continue playing as usual.
Please note that while save data backed up to your Nintendo Account will be deleted from the server after the 7-day storage period, this will not affect the data on your device.
Q6. When I launched the app on my new device after switching devices, the Continue and Start Fresh buttons aren't showing up.
A6. If the options to Start Fresh or Continue do not appear on your new device, please try the following steps:
- If a Save-Data Download button is displayed on your new device:
Tap the Save-Data Download button to download the data. - If you performed step 1 but the save data you wish to transfer was not downloaded:
Reinstall the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete app on your new device.
Please note that uninstalling Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete deletes the save data from the device, making it impossible to recover.
Uninstalling the app from your old device before the transfer is complete on your new device will prevent you from performing the necessary transfer steps; therefore, please be careful not to uninstall the app from your old device until the transfer process is finished.

A7. All data saved in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, such as Leaf Tokens, can be transferred as-is even when switching to a different OS (e.g., from Android to iOS).
